Corrado Balest  (b.1923), a famous Italian artist, printmaker and sculptor.

He is known for his fabulous etchings, majority of which have been commissioned by Venice and Milan based publishing  houses to illustrate the classic and modern poetry and literature.

Corrado's works are part of very high end collection including The Hermitage, St.Petersburg, Russia.

Lots of literature and references. Although mainly in Italian.
